I came with sone friends for Sunday lunch. Nice place and the food was good. It seemed busy and understaffed. We had to remind the waitress three times about our drinks which arrived well after our food.

This was a great find Highly recommend Quality good food Lovely atmosphere Staff were very helpful  thank you for being accommodating and also understanding of our son with autism fussy eater.

Great pub/restaurant but our Sunday Roast arrived luke warm. Must have been standing for a while. It was corrected and we enjoyed our lunch

Unfortunately we didn&rsquo;t have a good experience today at the Priory.The belly pork was tough and stringy, The pork scratchings had obviously been bought in and was an edible as it was tough. And the food was lukewarm.My partner had a chicken pie/ bacon / Brie pie. The pieces of chicken were in little cubes like you would possibly buy frozen from Iceland. He said it was tasteless but yet it all.My mother-in-law had fish and chips. The fish inside the soggy batter was clearly not good quality. ITo be fair they refunded me on the belly pork as there was no arguing it was tough dry and stringy.I cannot fault the lovely polite staff that could not do enough for you. And the ambience and the decor is lovely.Unfortunately will not risk returning again.

Great staff above and beyond to help my dietary needs! Nice friendly food was great we all enjoyed and was second visit and will go back anytime very happy customers ????
